JULE M. PODANI

Jule M. Podani Age 93, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2009. Born in Shenandoah, PA, she was predeceased by her husband, Matthew, parents, John and Mary Metrick, brothers, Michael and Samuel, and sisters, Anna and Mary. She is survived by brothers, Joseph (Julia), and Walter and John Metrick, and several nieces and nephews. Jule was a member of Holy Family Church. Jule enjoyed needlework, knitting, quilting, ceramics, and designing Byzantine style Easter eggs. She also did volunteer work for Newark Senior Center and Little Sisters of the Poor. A funeral service will be on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 11:00 am at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3710 Kirkwood Highway at Duncan Road where friends may call after 10:30. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
