THEODORE J. FARNAN

Theodore J. Farnan Age 69, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 17, 2009 Ted was born in Wilmington and graduated from the former Brown Vocational School. He was a carpenter/cabinet maker for Ventresca Brothers, Inc. for over 20 years. He was a gifted woodworker. His love of his craft kept him occupied even in his free time. He was a member of the Delaware State Pistol Club. He also enjoyed landscaping his yard. His favorite times were spent surrounded by his close family of children and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Beverly (Hayworth) Farnan; two daughters, Chrysa F. Cohen and Rochelle F. McGrory and her husband Patrick; 3 grandchildren, Rachel M. Cohen and her father Paul and Quinn W. and Kessie L. McGrory; 4 siblings, James J. Farnan, Joseph M. Farnan and his wife Deborah, Michael J. Farnan and his wife Judith, and Anne M. Farnan, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Wilmington. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Anne (Reilly) and Theodore Farnan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 11:30 am, at Christ Our King Church, 2810 N. Monroe St. Wilmington, DE. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 21, from 6-8pm at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington,(Rt 202, just south of Silverside Rd). Interment will be held at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery, Greenville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sunday Breakfast Mission, 110 N.
